  1. Cut mozzarella in half inch slices, Slice again to make a sandwich, leaving it un-sliced for about a 1/2 inch to keep the slices attached.
  2. Place anchovy fillets in each sandwich. Fillets can be pieced to keep them within the sandwich. Dip in egg, covering well. Roll in seasoned flour, heat oil 1/8 in frying pan.
  3. Sauté each sandwich until golden brown on both sides.
  4. Serve immediately. Serve as a hero sandwich in Italian Bread.
